In June 2023, the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) held a fresh round of invitations for candidates in the Express Entry system.
This latest New Brunswick draw, which took place in July 2023, distributed ITAs to 121 candidates across three NBPNP Express Entry streams: NB Employment Connection, NB Student Connection, and NB Occupations in Demand Connection.
Here are the specifics of this latest round:
Invitations for Latest New Brunswick Draw – June
- NB Employment Connection: 28 Invitations
- NB Student Connection: 64 Invitations
- NB Occupations in Demand Connection: 29 Invitations
The size & frequency of these draws are set by the NBPNP’s existing application backlog. While the draws are typically held monthly, there are exceptions. The dates for upcoming New Brunswick draws are not announced in advance.
Those who receive an ITA have a 45-day window to submit a comprehensive application to the NBPNP. Once the application is approved, the individual is nominated by the province to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Nominees then have 30 days to accept the nomination through their Federal Express Entry account.
The NBPNP often sifts through the IRCC’s Express Entry pool to identify candidates that align with one of the New Brunswick PNP’s streams’ criteria. The most recent NB Express Entry stream draw prior to this was in May, with 93 invitations sent to eligible candidates in the federal Express Entry pool.
