The Provincial Nominee Program for Prince Edward Island (PEI PNP) has recently conducted a new round of invitations via their Expression of Interest (EOI) system. The most recent draw, held on July 20, 2023, extended Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 106 candidates. These candidates were nominated under the streams of Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labor & Express Entry.
This invitation round marked the first of its kind for Prince Edward Island PNP in July.
Summary of the Latest PEI PNP Draw
- Labor and Express Entry: Received 97 Invitations
- Business and Work Permit Entrepreneur: Received 9 Invitations, the lowest score being 80.
For the July 20, 2023 draw, ITAs were dispatched under the Critical Worker Stream to those employed by a PEI Employer, given they had a minimum EOI score of 50. International workers with at least two years of experience in Semi-Skilled and Unskilled jobs might meet the criteria to apply for the Critical Worker Stream of the PEI PNP.
In the past year, the Prince Edward Island PNP has granted a cumulative total of 2,423 invitations to Labor & Express Entry aspirants and 78 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur applicants.

The PEI PNP organizes regular invitation rounds to invite the most eligible candidates, based on their scores, to apply for the provincial nomination. These invitation rounds generally occur monthly, in alignment with the 2023 draw schedule of the Prince Edward Island PNP.
Please note that simply satisfying the minimum criteria does not necessarily secure an invitation to apply for the provincial nomination. The Prince Edward Island PNP extends invitations to those candidates whose profiles are most in line with the labor market and economic growth strategies of the province.
