Overview of Latest Ontario Draws
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has recently conducted consecutive invitation rounds, signifying the province’s efforts to attract skilled foreign workers and international graduates to contribute to its diverse and thriving labor market.
In the most recent selection rounds conducted on August 01, 2023, a combined total of 840 invitations were extended to Skilled Workers and International Graduates. To be eligible for these invitation rounds, candidates needed to have a minimum score of 26 or above.
Key Highlights of Latest Ontario Draws:
The OINP issues Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to eligible candidates on a weekly basis, with some exceptions. The province determines the frequency, size, and date of the draws based on its application inventory needs.
Draw 1: Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream

- Type of draw: Targeted draw for Economic Mobility Pathways Project candidates.

- Minimum score: 36 and above
Draw 2: Masters Graduate Stream
- Date of NOIs issued: August 01, 2023
- Type of draw: General draw
- Number of NOIs issued: 755
- Profiles created between: November 22, 2022, and August 1, 2023
- Minimum score: 48 and above
Draw 3: Ph.D. Graduate Stream
- Date of NOIs issued: August 01, 2023
- Type of draw: General draw
- Number of NOIs issued: 84
- Profiles created between: November 22, 2022, and August 1, 2023
- Minimum score: 39 and above
If You Receive an Invitation:
If you are chosen from the pool of candidates, you may receive an Invitation to Participate (ITP) in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). However, receiving an ITA does not automatically qualify you for one of the OINP streams. Upon receiving an ITA, you may proceed to apply online if you meet the requirements of the stream identified in your ITA. It is important to submit your application within 14 calendar days of receiving the ITA.
