Overview of OINP’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream
The Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) pathway, part of Ontario’s Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), offers a method for skilled professionals to connect with Ontario’s employment requirements.
To become eligible for the HCP category, applicants must first set up an Express Entry profile and express a desire to relocate to Ontario. The province then scans the Express Entry database for those who align with HCP qualifications, including specific work history, language skills, and education.
If chosen, aspirants obtain a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario, enabling them to pursue provincial endorsement. This support includes an extra 600 CRS points, virtually assuring a subsequent Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the following federal Express Entry selection.
The OINP Express Entry HCP stream serves as an appealing and fruitful channel for skilled laborers aspiring to attain permanent residency in Ontario. This pathway supports both provincial and national immigration strategies, fostering Ontario’s economy through a competent and varied labor force.
