Highlights Of Recent Manitoba PNP Draw For Region-Specific Candidates
On August 31, 2023, a fresh draw was executed by Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) within its Expression of Interest (EOI) framework.
This newest round of the Manitoba PNP saw 288 invites dispatched under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba category. To be considered for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in Canada, applicants needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of no less than 600.
This was the first-ever Region-Specific Draw for Manitoba Skilled Workers.

Region-Specific Draw
Candidates who confirmed they’re currently employed in Manitoba and plan to live outside Winnipeg were evaluated.
- Count of LAAs granted: 288
- Lowest scoring invitee: 600
Out of the 288 invites, 127 went to those who confirmed a valid Express Entry ID and a job seeker verification code.
The end-of-August selection keeps up with Manitoba’s series of subsequent rounds with an increased number of ITAs and more lenient CRS criteria. The 2023 activities show Manitoba’s aim to widen its pool of eligible provincial nominees.
