The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has carried out its fourth Express Entry lottery of the week, marking the inaugural category-specific draw for the French-Language Proficiency category.
The Express Entry lottery conducted on July 07, 2023, extended Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 2,300 applicants under the French-Language Proficiency category. The eligible candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 439 to participate in this round of invitations.

In cases where several applicants share the lowest score, the CRS cut-off score is determined by when they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
In the last two weeks, the IRCC has conducted six Express Entry draws, inviting a total of 9,800 candidates. The latest draw took place on July 6, inviting 1,500 candidates with Healthcare occupations work experience.
