Details For Upcoming Express Entry Draw
Canada is gearing up to conduct its inaugural Express Entry draw for individuals possessing experience in the transportation field this week.
On September 18, 2022, Marc Miller, the respected Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), declared that the initial round of invitations for transportation professions via category-driven selection in Express Entry is slated for this week. This forthcoming Express Entry session will target transportation sector professionals including commercial truck operators, airline pilots and workers involved in aircraft manufacturing.
Key Point- For Upcoming Draw
IRCC is preparing to execute its first Express Entry round this week, targeting the transportation sector.
A compilation of 10 occupations will be eligible for the Express Entry round for candidates with knowledge of transportation work.
By prioritizing the addition of skilled immigrants with backgrounds in transportation roles, Canada intends to address the growing demand for skilled workers and play a vital role in driving the country’s economic growth and development.
On May 31, IRCC established six new nomination groups for Express Entry selection. The clusters were identified after evaluating job market forecasts and liaising with a spectrum of partners, affiliates and provincial and territorial administrations. So far, IRCC has made seven selections under the newly introduced category-driven approach for the Express Entry round.
Canada is set to conduct its Express Entry round after a gap of more than a month. The last Express Entry session was held on 15 August.
