The most recent session of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program took place on October 31, 2023, where 208 individuals received invitations to apply in the International Graduate, Semi-skilled and Skilled Worker stream. Participants in this draw required a minimum score of 60 points to qualify.
Details of the October 31, 2023 BC PNP Draw:
- The General draw including tech occupations issued 133 invitations across Five streams including Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker – EEBC option, International Graduate, International Graduate – EEBC option, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled.
- The minimum score required for Skilled Workers was 111.
- The minimum score required for Skilled Workers – EEBC option was also 111.
- International Graduates needed a minimum score of 113.
- International Graduates – EEBC option also required a minimum score of 113.
- Entry Level and Semi-Skilled positions had a minimum score requirement of 91.
- A targeted draw for Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202) resulted in 48 invitations for Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option) with a minimum score of 60.
- The healthcare sector’s targeted draw resulted in 22 invitations for Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option), requiring a minimum score of 60.
- Fewer than five invitations were issued in the targeted draw for Other Priority Occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104), encompassing Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams (including EEBC option), with a required minimum score of 60.
British Columbia implemented its fifth round of invitations in October, following the BC PNP Skills Immigration Draw held on October 24, 2023.
It is important to note that the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program issues continuous invitations to eligible candidates, usually on a weekly basis, in accordance with the current demands of the British Columbia PNP application pool.
The schedule for BC PNP Draws is maintained on a regular Tuesday/Wednesday basis, with a rotation between general sessions and specific draws aimed at Tech, Childcare, Healthcare, and Other Priority Occupations, including Early Childhood Educators.
