Previously, on October 5, 2023, Alberta extended 150 invitations to individuals within the Express Entry pool, each of whom had a CRS rating of 323 or higher.
- This draw targeted Family Connections and Primary Occupation in Demand.
- It was conducted on October 5th, 2023.
- 150 invitations were issued during this draw.
- Candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 323 to qualify.
- The CRS scores of invited candidates ranged from 300 to 500.
Two days prior, on October 3, 2023, a total of 33 invitations were issued to those aiming for permanent residency in the priority area of agricultural occupation, provided they had an offer of employment within Alberta. Candidates who had achieved a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score exceeding 313 were considered during this October 3 invitation round.
Fast forward to October 11, 2023, the province had awarded 8,437 nomination certificates across all categories. For 2023, Alberta has an allocation of 9,750 enrollments, with 4,875 reserved specifically for Express Entry candidates.
Keep in mind, not every Express Entry invitee accepts nominations, and some may not arrive within the same year of invitation due to extended PNP processing times.
Remaining Alberta PNP Nominations for 2023?
So far, the province has distributed its 8,437 provincial nomination. This leaves more than 1,313 provincial nominations available for the year 2023.
Alberta’s overall PNP allocation for this year stands at 9,750, half of which is allocated to the Express Entry stream.
