Allocation of Alberta Nominations
The allocation of enrollment certificates authorized for issuance to the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) is determined by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) within its annual quota. For the year 2023, the AAIP is set to issue up to 9,750 nominations, distributed between Express Entry and other AAIP streams. However, this distribution is subject to adjustments throughout the year. There is an expectation that the number of nomination allocations could exceed 10,000 each year in the forthcoming periods of 2024 and 2025.
It is important to recognize that projected enrollment figures for the AAIP are provisional and may be revised without prior warning. Such adjustments are dependent on a number of conditions, such as changes in the volume of applications received and the dynamic needs of Alberta’s labor market.
