Introducing the French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream of Ontario.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program’s (OINP) French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream is a bespoke pathway devised to attract French-speaking skilled professionals to Ontario, Canada. This initiative is a testament to Ontario’s dedication to bolstering French-Speaking immigration, thereby enhancing the province’s linguistic diversity.
This stream enables eligible Francophone skilled workers with a working knowledge of English to be nominated by the OINP for Canadian permanent residence. Candidates are expected to either hold a valid job offer within Ontario or have a minimum of one year of full-time employment experience in a skilled occupation within the last five years. Additionally, they are required to meet specific education, language proficiency, and adaptability criteria, as outlined in the Ontario PNP points calculator.
The French Speaking Skilled Worker stream presents a remarkable chance for French-speaking migrants to establish their roots in Ontario. It enables them to contribute to the province’s economic development while preserving and promoting its rich linguistic and cultural heritage.
